His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Guard business.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Robert was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Robert's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. History: Clerebold hails from a village terrorized by drow. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of drow
