Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Shepherd. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Matilda is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Shepherd work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shepherd work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Shepherd for the past few years.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her first spouse was a Barrister, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Barrister they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Sculptor, and she later adopted a second son.
