History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult.

Description: Standing 5'4", this man wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with broad hat. His long blonde hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He tends to his Detective job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and wants to work out more often

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She has the majority of her body covered in plate. Her hair is short and auburn. Her brown eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Anne hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her music career. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Glassblower hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is her passion; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
