Description: This slender woman stands about 4'9". She dresses well, wearing brown shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. Her hair is long and golden with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small brown clips. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.
Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: Mary was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of luck around his neck, and a trident on his belt, and carries tridents. He keeps his long red hair kept up in a rat tail. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Gilbert isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.
History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She wears tattered old clothes. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. She has a tattooed face.
Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Fisher arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and money/treasure

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy silver hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.
History: Gifted from a young age, Aldous studied abroad. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Aldous and his spouse have recently divorced.
