History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Gerald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Blacksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sickle.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes orcs are coming to abduct people. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered orcs who tried to eat her hand. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it.

Description: With tan face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she is typically in her Healer uniform. Her red hair is singed and shortened. Her green unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Healer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Healer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
