History: He was born into a rich family. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Roland was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.
