Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was born in the north. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: She got into the Roofer business at a young age. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Roofer. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: This woman loves music and to teach people music more than just about anything. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Doctor.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
