Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gerald does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His childhood dream was to be a Dyer, but he was a colossal failure. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Barber for hire.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Maynild grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
