Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Gerard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His brown hair is greasy and uncared for. His fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. Theobald enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Beggar. He's also a talented Sage, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends.

Description: He wears dark leathers with embroidery. He carries a battered nunchaku and tarnished scimitar as well. He has no hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Hunter business.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
