History: Balimaar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Soapmaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Maynild was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Through the years after Maynild was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Maynild's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.
