Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She was born in a small desert village. Herleva liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

This gray eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She is a great chef.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Helen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Shepherd for hire.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it.
