Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it
