Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Lance was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He married young, but lost his spouse to brigands. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and expand his business
