She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Avelina embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She now mingles about in high society.
