History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
