When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Mary took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up axe and armor she uses now. She struck the Junk Dealer job and began her own company from there.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lance grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lance. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
