Description: A plain young-adult man, he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep brown.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Frederick's homeland. Frederick decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Frederick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty white coat over it. He has red hair. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Tim alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and wants to work out more often

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is greedy

Description: She appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'8". She wears tattered old clothes, and her gloved hand is found clutching a hand crossbow. She wears her auburn hair up in a very large beehive style do. Her amber eyes peer out from beneath her small brown hat.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Galiena was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Galiena and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.
