History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Juliana was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Through the years after Beatrice was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north.
