History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Oriel grew up listening to her father's many stories. A freak accident while working with her Bounty Hunter father left her crippled. During her travels, Oriel and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Oriel discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Oriel fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Through the years after Matilda was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Matilda's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her childhood dream was to be a Bounty Hunter, but she was a colossal failure. She's also a talented Bounty Hunter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
