History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
