Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. Her hair is cut close to her head. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. The war was a terrible time for her, and Maynild does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Maynild fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a tan coat. He has wavy silver hair. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Ralf was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. After a long history of fighting, Ralf and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she is greedy
