History: Katherine was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying east to reunite her family. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Katherine was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.

He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Spy they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Banker, and he later adopted a second son.
