History: He comes from a rich southern family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: She got into the Stableman business at a young age. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She struck the Stableman job and began her own company from there.
