History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Egelina was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
