History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Lance was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. After coming to the age of reason, Lance took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

She has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to her abundance of muscles. Her golden hair is singed and shortened. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing music.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has never given up on her music dream.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out
