Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He is physically well-built. His chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are a pleasant blue.

Personality: Bertram speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bertram grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bertram. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Interpreter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Interpreter work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She now owns her own business.
