History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Hugh was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Navigator. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
