History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it; and revenge
