History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Scribe. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: She was born into a rich family. Emmeline was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Emmeline decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She now owns her own business.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. Alexandre enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
