She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Jacoba was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Dilettante but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
