Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. The war was a terrible time for her, and Emma does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Emma was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Emmeline lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and doesn't want to be a sellsword and was forced into it by her family

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: Gifted from a young age, Conrad studied abroad. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered goblins who tried to eat his hand. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
