History: Peter was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Peter alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
