History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Eloise isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Eloise grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Eloise. Being a Scribe kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born in the south to a Fisher, Shane learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes.
