Personality: Nicholas wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she wears a tight fitting pastel shirt and pants. She has slicked back silver hair. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Emma was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature morningstar.

Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. He has moderate length black hair. This amber eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Gomory lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Description: This late middle aged woman prefers to wear white clothing when she does not wear armor and is in decent physical shape. Her red hair is braided into rings. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: The child of a Shoemaker, who enjoyed hunting, Griselda was taken on many hunting expeditions. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Griselda never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
