Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. Conrad is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Conrad was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Being a Painter kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Painter and was forced into it by her family; and a rival would like her out of the picture

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Carter. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and wants her loneliness to end

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
