History: He was born in a small plains village. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Gilbert took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up bastard sword and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Servant.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
