Description: She is a paragon of her species. She is larger and stronger than most Humans. Her skin is light but she possesses many yellow ritualistic tattoos. She wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. Her chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. Her fierce hazel eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When Helen reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Human culture. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Description: A middle-aged man, he typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep blue leather and dull tan iron scale mail, and is pretty ugly. His long brown hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears just a red suit. His auburn hair is smooth and relatively long. He has several tiny aquamarine earrings on each ear.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and money/treasure
