History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She struck the Knight job and began her own company from there.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Alex was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature axe.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes goblins are coming to abduct people. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered music. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
