History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Lance was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He tends to his Banker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: She comes from a rich western family. After coming to the age of reason, Maynild took it upon herself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.
