History: John was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and expand his business

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many violet ritualistic tattoos. He wears a black tunic with violet highlights, and long blue pants that bunch up around his shoes. His golden hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: Rolf hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his dancing career. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Rolf lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: She is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her halberd, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a clover on it. Her chestnut hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: She is a Seamstress first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the south. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Seamstress. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Spice Merchant they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Seamstress, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Seamstress and was forced into it by her family; and to reunite with her absent mother

She has brown eyes and a violet hat with a white feather.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
