Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. She wears a feathered hat to hide her balding. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Ella's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Ella was born with her mother's beautiful face. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ella fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Gifted from a young age, Aldous studied abroad. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
