History: Born in the north to a Beggar, Gerald learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He struck the Beggar job and began his own company from there.

Description: This malnourished man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His golden hair is thinning but still full. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
