He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying east to reunite her family. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Fortune-teller for hire.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Fortune-teller responsibilities is difficult; and a deep hatred of goblins

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Adelard was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Adelard decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Fletcher kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He is a Bellfounder first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. A freak accident while working with his Carter father left him crippled. He's also a talented Carter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bellfounder responsibilities is difficult; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
