He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and he seems to be bored by most things

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born in the west to a Tailor, Bernard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bernard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
