Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying north to reunite her family. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Melissa was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.
