History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Manfred was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He worked as a nervous Guard and found it very stressful. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born in the east to a Locksmith, Lewis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Locksmith. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Locksmith for the past few years.

History: Sybil was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Merchant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Merchant work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Anthony hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.
