History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting goblins, the young Nicholas began to lead the lost caravan. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A freak accident while working with her Bellfounder father left her crippled. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Baker and was forced into it by her family; and regain custody of her daughter

Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Vicky fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
