History: Born in the north to a Carter, Jacoba learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Carter for the past few years.

Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Agnes was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.
