History: Jane was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and wants to work out more often

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Carter they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Layabout, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he feels kind of lost in life

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her childhood dream was to be a Carter, but she was a colossal failure. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Banker for the past few years.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
