History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Marshal hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, Emma and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is her passion; and she has money and likes to spend it

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
